*Now Enrolling for Fall 2024- Half Day and Full Day*

Medley Village is…

A quality and unique educational experience that blends the Montessori method with the Reggio Emilia approach and includes rich creative art and nature learning. We combine cognitive and creative capacities to offer a holistic approach to education. We offer flexible schedules to appeal to many families and a small group environment in which children have the freedom to explore and be a part of a strong learning community.

Founder and Director

Medley Village’s founder and director Anna Medley Johnson, also serves as the lead teacher/guide in the classroom. She has over 20 years of experience working in early childhood. She has a degree in education from Hamline University, Montessori training through the College of St. Catherine’s, and has attended multiple professional development study tours in Reggio Emilia, Italy. Anna has authored several articles and presented at professional development conferences on the merging of the Montessori and Reggio Emilia approaches in early childhood settings. After working for ten years at a local Montessori school that also incorporates the Reggio Emilia approach, Anna fulfilled her dreams by opening Medley Village. This fall (2024) will be the 9th year of our program.
